French tips are always fashionable and classy.
To contrast with your bright dress, I suggest a contrast in your nails. Clip them short and round them off and paint them a dark blue, plum, brown or black. (Short and round is more chic) White or gray is also a great trendy color to go with any outfit. Don't forget topcoat to really set your nails off.

Paint them one of the colors of your dress, or pick like two or three and stripe the colors. If you want to get really fancy, you can even do two colors and try to swirl them together. :)

just paint them a solid colour. if your dress is bright, you want something more simple.

well since it's the christmas season, do a french tip then with small nail pens add christmas lights hanging down =) hope I helped
