Any ideas about a good red nail polish, and a black mascara?

Sephora has really nice nail polishes and they come in so many colors. For mascara, I would say LashExact or LashBlast, both are really good and the only difference is the size of the wand (LashExact is thinner and smaller)Any ideas about a good red nail polish, and a black mascara?
O.P.I. has a red nail polish called I`M NOT REALLY A WAITRESS.

ESSIE has a red nail polish called FINAL ANSWER.

Both are my favourite red nail polishes.

SMOKEY LASH mascara by MAKE UP FOREVER PROFESSIONAL from SEPHORA is the blackest ever, and the best mascara I`ve ever used.

Hope that helped.

Good Luck.Any ideas about a good red nail polish, and a black mascara?
i use max factor for both, masterpiece mascara is their best and all of their nail polishes are really good and long lasting.
For mascara I would say Cover Girl's Lash Blast. The model they use on TV shows considerable change in her eyelashes when she uses it. Plus I have read it is better than the new Revlon double brush eye extensions because lash blast actually will make your eyelashes appear to have more body to them makeing your eyes look fuller. The eyelash extensions will increase the length of your lashes but will not provide the fullness you really need.

For nail polish, I would say first visit the www.opi.com web site and use the ';Try-On this color'; which has a virtual hand model, As the choice of color is made the hand model's fiongernails change with it.The skin tones range from light to dark and you can match your skin tone and then choose a red color you would love to wear. This may be a useful tool to have when you want to match other outfits or change nail polish shades.

Next, if you have a Sephora Cosmetic Beauty store, check out their new Sephora by OPI display of 54 shades exclusively made byu OPI for Sephora. The unique thing about the display is they have sampler bottle testers of all their nail polishes, cotton pads, and nail polish remover. So you cann try on different nail polishes and see how they will look like onn your nails. Where else can you find a store that provides this kind of service? Most drug and pharmacy places won't allow you to test their nail polishes I believe.

Also after you choose the red color you want, use a base coat, two coats of your favorite red color and then try these Sephora fast drying nail polish drops. The unique thing about the drops is that you use a eye dropper instead of a brush, and one or two drops on your new manicure will dry your nails and seal in all the polishes.

If you use hand lotion or cuticle or nail oil make sure you wash the mioxture off completely otherise the polish won't stick; and never shake the bottle of nailk polish because nail polish is a flammable liquid and by shaking the bottle up and down, may cause air bubbles to form in the nail polish and this can trnasfer onto your nails. Instead rub the nail polish in the palm of your hand a number of times and this will prevent the air (whihc is actually the flammable liquid vapor) from transfer.

Making sure you dry each coat, base, two colors before proceeding to the next one. Then after the nail drops have dried fully, you can use your favorite top coat with diamond hardeners or whichever you like. Sally Hansen has some great nail hardeners for a top coat and can found in most drug stores in their cosmetic counters. Hope that helps,

For Red colors I might suggest OPI ';Big Apple Red (NLN25)

OPi ';Chick Flick Cherry Red (NLH02)

OPI ';I'm not really a waitress'; (NLH08

OPI ';QUarter of a Cent-Cherry : (NL! 34)

Nevertheless, I would try and find a Sephora by OPI display and actually try on the red color shades you love to wear, that matches your lovley skin tone and goes with the outfit you plan on wearing. Also, don't forget your toenails and you might consider open toed shoes to show off the matching red you love so much or another color shade which seems to be the style now. Dark toes and bright fingernails.
