Nail ideas and designs?

Ok, i'm going to paint my nails and I need some ideas on what to do for them. I'm able to do things most proffesionals are able to do. Oh, and I can't do things that you can only do for long nails, because I have to keep mine short.

You could make them all different colors, like this...

You could do polka dots, cherries, strawberries, watermelon slices (etc.) You could do stripes, flowers, suns, stars, ladybugs, and moons.


There are lots of options and these are just a few.

checkered is the way to go. you can do it all the way down or just the tips different colors are fun

I saw a lady with a lovely design on her nails the other day. They were painted white, with thin black lines and pink dots around the lines to look like cherry blossom trees. Also, I love the design where the nail is painted white with a different suit of cards, like a red heart then a black spade, etc.
