My nail polish will not stay on and homecoming is next week, any ideas?

Your polish won't stay on? That's odd-well you could invest in a manicure, as generally profesionals do a good job. If you want to do it yourself, you may want to try buying an undercoat (its just clear polish) and then putting the polish on top. paint a clear coat on before you paint them, and put a clear coat on after.

You should use Sally Hanson Maximum Growth Plus Nourishing Nail Color. This is the absolute best nail polish I have ever tried. Not only does it stay on amazingly well, it also strengthens weak nails. Have fun at Homecoming!
Wipe your nails with nail polish remover before you put your nail polish on even if you have no polish on already. The oil on your nails can prevent the polish from sticking good. Also put on a good anti chip top coat, OPI makes a good one.
why not just paint your nails before homecoming?
Get it done a day before or the day of homecoming
Apply a nail strengther coat. Apply two coats of your nail polish colour. Apply one coat of shiny, stay on nail polish. Don't go swimming.
Being a nail tech. I am a little confused what you mean by will not stay on. Be shure to use a base coat and a top coat that will prolong the life of your nailpolish. Also the type of nail polish brand also makes a big difference. Think about it there is nail polish out there for a $1. Would use nail polish that costs less than pop? No, it is poor quality, has a lot of alcohol in it, and not a lot of color pigments in it that make the color bold. I'm not saying that you HAVE to go out and get a O.P.I colore for $7 but somewhere in the middle would be good if on a budget. Good Luck.
