Colorful nail ideas?

I'm going on a cruise, and i have acrylic nails. im getting them painted again, and i wanted them to be colorful. i was thinking of getting a colored tips, but im open to ideas. any cool,colorful ideas for nails?Colorful nail ideas?
I love to do my nails with polka-dots





1.base coat- good for your nail (can be skipped)


2. color- any color will do 2 or 3 coats should do it. paint the entire nail


3 wait for the color to dry COMPLETELY


4.take a q-tip and take off all the cotton on the end. this is your ';dotter';


5. other color- white black or any oppisite of the color you already put on will look good.


6. take the oppisite color and dab the plain end of the Q-tip so that you get the entire surface colored and press lightly against nail.


7. wait for dry and put a clear coat over it- so it doesnt rub off tomorrow.

Bright, candy colors are in right now! Think fuscia, orange, purple, yellow, lime green! Also black and white are in. I'm personally not a fan of white because it can look like you went into the office supply store and got in a fight with a bottle of white - out (and the white - out won, haha!)



Some cool ideas are getting like nail stickers on and getting like palm trees or a sun on them. Also I've seen zebra stripes and those are cute. I also like polka dots, stripes, stars, and flowers.

If you like pink, do pink nails with black glittery tips. Ive got them done before and everyone loved them, I was getting compliments from all over the place. =)

Get some kind of a colored tip, or french manicure with flowers on them.
Bright orange tips would look good esp with tanned skin. (:
go for really vibrant colours and mix them up
