Nail polish ideas?

Do you use nail polish? If so, do you do your own nails or get them done at a salon? What are your favorite shades/colors/styles? And have you ever done nail designs before?Nail polish ideas?
Hairstylist here!!. The best shades are complementary to the skin tone. If you are very light you should use pastel shades and red is also ok. Medium skin tone Browns, reds or almost any bright color. No light colors they won't look very pretty. If you have dark skin you can wear darker shades and pastels are almost a no.no. I do my own nails. Heres a tip. when you file your nails don't saw back and forth with the file. go on one edge to middle then other edge to middle if not your nails will split and peel easier. I personally like sporty length and french style manicures with little jewel designs on them.or rhinestones glued on.Nail polish ideas?
I wear black nail varnish sometimes, I'm a non gothic guy and not gay. I do my own nails. I usually let them grow and filed square but recently I found that rounded nails are so much less awkward and feel more comfortable. I've been using L'Oreal No. 200, it's purple but looks so dark it's almost black. I haven't done much in the way of nail design but what I do is paint the underside a contrasting colour e.g. black nails with white underside.
